Flip-Open Clip-on GPS HOLSTER for Garmin Dog Tracking Devices - Add-On for the INTEGRATOR

I've been looking for something like this for a while. It securely hold my Alpha 100 unit. Imalso able to adjust the height lofocation of the unit. Im happy with my purchase and wouldrecommend it to others.

It’s a little bit pricey but as someone that is trained in 3D design and has a little experience in manufacturing, it’s pretty competitively priced. When you consider the time it takes to design it, source the materials, put it into production and land it at your door while making a little yourself for all your hard work—the asking price isn’t too bad.It is a very cleverly designed mount that enables its user to mount it in various different ways and it obviously works with a plethora of different GPS Trackers due to its design so that means you could use this with different tracks if you decide to switch brands or upgrade.When you consider how much the average tracker costs and how easy they are to lose or vulnerable they are to being lost, this mount becomes an easy investment to make sure your tracker stays on or with you at all times.

I used this Saltstone gps case with a both a garmin gpsmap 67i and a garmin etrex solar. The spine attachment held well and the holder accommodated both units just fine.It's a really nicely made gps mount and the flip down feature is a convenient way to check it, without dealing with lanyards. Especially useful if you're checking your device frequently for some reason, like geocaching or a similar activity. Though it's nicely made, I think it's a bit over priced and there's no pressure release tab to push/lift when taking your device off the spine mount. So, you've gotta use a bit of force to pop it off and to get it to fully seat.It's got a lot of different mounting options integrated into the holster. You can use the plastic tab to feed through a molle system, which is what I use. It also has a clip, and there's a quick connect type buckle that looks like it would integrate in with the Saltstone hunting harness system. I unfortunately do not have one of their harnesses/vests, but it looks like this would be a nice fit for one. It works just fine with my existing packs that have integrated molle, so don't let that deter you from considering this item. I've used it with an Oakley extractor 2.0 sling pack and an Osprey Paco Plus child carrier.The holster materials are top notch. The plastic composites are thick and durable, to include the spine, the mount, the buckles, and clip. The nylon is equally tough and should have good rip resistance.The flip down system is, in my opinion, the most convenient design I've used for checking the screen. It's typically not necessary to look at your GPS often enough to make it a big deal, but the convenience of the flip down feature makes a big difference when you are making frequent checks. This is my go to mount when geocaching.I really do like this harness and aside from the 2 minor critiques I mentioned early on, I think it's fantastic. If you are frequently peeking at your gps, I'd boldly say this holster is absolutely what you need. Whether you have their harness system or not, this is a great accessory to pick up.
